Canuck Style Canada150 Wedding Shoot – Part V

So if you loved the assortment of sweets that Shirley’s Sweet Creations provided for this incredible style shoot in our last blog post, then you’re absolutely going to love the savory food display created by the incredible team at Hawley Crescent Culinary Services.  Thanks again to Rhythm Photography for these amazing images.  Just looking at this photos again is making our mouths water.

We showcased the best food products that Canada has to offer for this ultra Canadian inspired style shoot.  This would make a super spread for any gathering, at any time of the year, bridal shower, rehearsal dinner or even at a wedding.  We think it strikes a harmonious Canadian chord doesn’t it?  Many thanks to Southern Charm Vintage Rentals and Event Rental Group for the tableware and decor prop items.  They really enhanced that Canadiana vibe.

Thank you to RHYTHM PHOTOGRAPHY for these stunning images.

Wendy stated that “We showcased signature food items from the various regions of Canada like Prince Edward Island potatoes that were made into French fries, topped with gravy and cheese curds.  This dish is called poutine and originates from Quebec.  The British Columbia salmon was glazed with maple syrup made in Ontario.   The mussels were from Prince Edward Island.  The array of cheeses, pork, bacon and wild game smoke meats were from Ontario, Alberta and Quebec.”

The centre front of the savory food table featured crackers, an assortment of cheeses and some venison meat.  These were all products made in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.  You can also see the small round PEI potatoes, medley of Ontario grown vegetables and one of Wendy’s favorite comfort food – poutine done with 3 different toppings.

We Candians also think that we have the best beer!!  Molson Canadian beer was an absolute must to feature for beverage.

This meat pie was absolutely scrumptious and the stuffed tenderloin just melted in our mouths.

The PEI mussels were also done in two ways – one with a cream based sauce and the other in a tomato based sauce.  You really couldn’t just eat one flavour – two was the way to go.
